Term 1: This term, Reception children will be developing their problem-solving skills through our exciting ‘Storyland’ theme. We will explore familiar stories and characters, using them as a starting point for solving problems, making decisions and thinking creatively.
Throughout the term, our Mantle of the Expert approach will encourage children to work together, help others and find solutions to different challenges. The ‘Winnie The Witch’ stories will provide opportunities to explore the themes of kindness, making difficult choices and sharing experiences.
We are looking forward to an exciting term of storytelling, problem-solving and learning together!
