Wednesday 16th July
We have been reflecting on our happy memories of school this year. Here are some of them…
We went to Perry Green as a school trip. It took a hour on the bus. When we got there a tour guide showed us around we saw lots of sculptures there and drew some of them. Our favourite sculptures were the bronze ones. Then we had lunch and saw lots more sculptures and then we went to the gift shop at the end and then we left.

On Monday 14th we had 2008 Sports Day! It was really fun. I was in the blue team, [the blue team won last year] it was great. The games were called Watch Out Crocodiles, Super Swift, Barmy Builders, and more. All of them were brilliant games. We started on Super Swift, we got 460 points! I think we had a good chance of winning, but… guess who won… Stripes! Oh well, it was just for fun. Further back in the year we went to Perry Green, were Henry Moore used to live. Can you believe they even had statues in the field! Some of them were made of bronze! Afterwards we went into the shop [ I got a note pad and some mints].

I loved Sports Day, I was in the purple team, we came 3rd! My favourite activities were the water run and the sack race!
It was great fun!!
We have also had lots of visitors! I have really enjoyed working with them.

I really enjoyed this term because we had loads of really cool Mantles like London Underground and Choc-Wizz. I love mantle because it’s really fun and flowing and it makes boring subjects fun.
We had a student teacher called Ana and she started Choc-Wizz and we went on really cool trips like Perry Green.
That’s why I loved this term!

This year has been really fun. I’ve been doing loads of really cool things including going to Perry Green. I also went to The wildlife club, sometimes I’ve even enjoyed maths because Bealings makes it really exciting. My favourite thing about this year was the school walk. We walked for a few miles and then we had a picnic.

Our teacher Kate Stevens was teaching us about Henry Moore a famous artist. The class went on a trip to Perry Green because this is where Henry Moore lived. We saw lots of really good sculptures, which I found really interesting. This year has been fun.
