Netball report – February 2012
On the 18th November 2011 the Federation tournament took place at Bealings School. The whole team played extremely well and with a lot of enthusiasm! As a result we came 1st against Nacton(2nd) and Bucklesham(3rd)! We won every match apart from one against Nacton which we drew. All the matches were played fairly as we rotated round every six minutes and played by the rules.
Parents, pupils at Bealings and ex pupils all gave great support which, we think, really helped us to win!!!
At Kesgrave High School on the 29th March 2011 Bealings School took part in the Pyramid tournament. There were 8 other schools competing in the tournament. They each played 8 matches of 7 minutes rotating round after every match. Bealings played very well and won 4 matches. In the end we came 5th out of 9!

Bealings v Nacton 25.2.04
It started well with Bealings scoring the first goal of the match and then we scored a second but Nacton soon caught up scoring two goals. Within the first half our goal attack, goalkeeper and goal defence got injured but only goal defence went off with a sprained arm. At the end of the first half Bealings were winning 5-4 it was very close.
At the start of the second half Nacton were in possession of the ball but Bealings got it off them then we scored it was 6-4. In the middle of the second half it was 7-6 to Bealings, near the end of the match Bealings were winning 10-9 then just as the whistle went, Bealings goal shooter scored! It was not counted though. The final Score was 10-9 to Bealings!
Well done to both teams for playing well!!
